The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has appointed Dame Eileen Sills, Chief Nurse at Guy's and St Thomas', as the first National Guardian for speaking up safely within the NHS.

The British Medical Association has confirmed that its junior doctor members have voted to take industrial action. We can now confirm which services we will be able run safely during the first day of planned industrial action on 12 January.
