Anna Winship

Consultant clinical oncologist
Biography
Anna Winship trained in clinical oncology at the Royal Marsden and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. She was a clinical research fellow in intensity-modulated radiotherapy at Guy's and St Thomas' for three years prior to becoming a consultant.
She specialises in radiotherapy and brachytherapy for all types of gynaecological cancers including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal and vulval tumours.
She implemented our state-of-the-art high dose rate brachytherapy service which offers image-guided treatment for cervical cancer patients. She has been clinical lead of various aspects of the Cancer Centre at Guy's project including the one-stop village and IT workstreams. She was previously lead clinician for gynaecological oncology for four years.

Research interests
Anna Winship is principal investigator on a number of clinical trials in gynaecological oncology. She has a research interest in novel imaging for brachytherapy planning.
