Biography
Faisal Ali is a consultant dermatologist, Mohs micrographic surgeon and laser surgeon in the dermatological surgery and laser unit, St John’s Institute of Dermatology.
Following junior medical training at King's College Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital, he completed dermatology training in Manchester. He undertook highly competitive fellowships in
- Mohs micrographic surgery and laser surgery at St John's Institute of Dermatology
- cosmetic dermatology and pigmentary disorders at the National Skin Centre, Singapore
Faisal is frequently invited to lecture nationally and internationally.
He is:
- a speciality advisor and inspector for the Care Quality Commission
- a medical advisor to Melanoma UK
- an executive committee member of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group
