Jennifer Spillane

Consultant neurologist


Jennifer did her undergraduate and core medical training in Cork, Ireland before completing her PhD at the Institute of Neurology which was focused on synaptic transmission in Lambert-Eaton syndrome and myasthenia gravis. She completed her neurology training the Royal Free Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and was appointed as a consultant in 2018.

She works at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.

She sees patients in the neurocritical care unit and has specialist clinics for myasthenia gravis and inherited and acquired neuromuscular disease.
