Consultant and lead clinician
Dr Sarah Ngan is a consultant in medical oncology working at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Sarah Ngan completed her undergraduate medical training at St. Bartholomew's Hospital school of medicine and undertook her training in medical oncology at Imperial College London, where she also obtain a PhD in molecular pathways involved in prostate and breast cancer. She was appointed as consultant in medical oncology at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in 2012 and prior to this was working at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.
Her specialist areas of interest include gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies, cancer of unknown primary (CUP) and acute oncology.
She is our clinical lead for cancer of unknown primary and is pathway chair for the London Cancer Alliance (LCA) CUP pathway group. She has developed the regional guidelines for CUP for the London Cancer Alliance.

Dr Ngan is principle investigation for a number of phase 2 and 3 clinical trials for patients with upper gastrointestinal malignancies.
