Consultant gastroenterologist
Biography
Dr Sebastian Zeki is a gastroenterologist with a subspecialist interest in upper gastrointestinal medicine and endoscopy. He completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate training at Cambridge University and London with formal training in advanced upper gastrointestinal endoscopy during his PhD and clinical lectureship in Cambridge before becoming a consultant at Guy's and St Thomas'.
His research interests include early gastric and oesophageal malignancies and upper gastrointestinal physiology.
He has also published on data science and is head of the Gastroenterology Data Science Institute seeking to understand how best to utilise electronic data to best benefit patient care.
