Shelley Srivastava

Consultant physician in respiratory and general medicine

Biography

Shelley Srivastava is a consultant physician in respiratory and general medicine, specialising in ventilation and respiratory failure at the Lane Fox respiratory service, St Thomas' Hospital. She joined the Lane Fox respiratory service in 2019.

She graduated from King's College London in 2000, and completed her specialist training in south west London, mainly based at St George's Hospital.

In 2010, Shelley started as a consultant in high dependency, respiratory and acute medicine at Charing Cross Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.  She was also an honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College London, and did a large amount of postgraduate teaching. 

Shelley completed a clinical research fellowship in airway inflammation in cystic fibrosis, based at St George's, University of London, and the Royal Brompton Hospital, London.  She was awarded an MD for her research from the University of London in 2012.
