Keeping Britain Alive: the NHS in a day is an 8-part documentary broadcast on Tuesdays on BBC 2 at 9pm. It  was filmed on 18 October 2012, when 100 camera crews followed 88 NHS services from all over the UK, including hospitals, GP surgeries and community teams.

There were 1,217 hours of footage to be edited down to just 8 hours. We’re pleased to say that the final series includes four stories from the Trust.

Tonight’s episode features the kidney transplant team and our newborn intensive care unit.
