91% of staff at Guy’s and St Thomas’ would recommend the Trust to friends and family in need of care or treatment – much higher than the national average of 77%.
In addition, 71% of Guy’s and St Thomas’ staff would recommend the Trust to friends and family as a place to work – significantly higher than the national average of 62%.
The Staff Friends and Family Test, published today (Thursday 28 May), reports the views of thousands of NHS employees in England.
A total of 1,600 Guy’s and St Thomas’ staff took part when the Test was carried out in February and March this year.
Ann Macintyre, Director of Workforce at Guy’s and St Thomas’, says: “I would like to thank all staff who took the time and trouble to complete the Staff Friends and Family Test.
“I am pleased that our staff continue to have such positive views about not only working here but also the care that we provide to our patients.”
The next Staff Friends and Family Test will be carried out over the next three weeks.
