Issue 20 of the GiST is out now
A new edition of the GiST, the quarterly magazine from Guy’s and St Thomas’, is now available in our hospitals and our community health centres.
In this edition you can find out about the new Cancer Centre at Guy’s, and how it was designed with the help of cancer survivor Diana Crawshaw and a team of patients with a mission to change cancer care.
We also hear how two local initiatives are widening access to employment. George Byford explains how the Autism Project helped him to get a job as a porter, and Clive Macrory, who was homeless for 20 years, talks about his hopes for the future after taking part in the Work Ready Programme.
Issue 20 of the GiST is available from stands at both Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals, in health centres in Lambeth and Southwark, and in other local community facilities.
