This year, Evelina Children's Hospital is 20 years old.
Let's have a look around.
The atrium is the heart of the hospital.
It's where you play, meet friends and do activities.
It's where everyone comes together.
From here you can see the whole hospital.
Kelly: That's me. And this is my hospital.
Our hospital is specially designed so they can give us the best care.
And when we need experts, they even come to us.
We can help children in the future by taking part in clinical research
The research team take really good care of us.
This building was made for children.
They even helped to design it.
Hasma: That's why we've got curvy corridors.
Rocket lifts.
And really, really, really big signs.
Kelly: Lots of kind and clever people came together to make this building.
They raised money, planned what it would look like and helped make it our brilliant hospital.
Our new film, created to celebrate Evelina London Children’s Hospital's 20th anniversary, showcases what makes the hospital so extraordinary.
The film highlights the vibrant and welcoming spaces which make the hospital feel 'not like a hospital', and the friendly, expert staff who put children and families at the heart of everything they do every day to make our hospital such a special place for babies, children and young people.
Our two brilliant presenters, 10-year-old Hasma and 16-year-old Kelly, share their favourite places and introduce some of the people who help make Evelina London Children's Hospital feel like a second home. From the colourful play areas to the state-of-the-art clinical spaces, the film captures the spirit of the hospital through the eyes of those who know it best – our patients.

Evelina London Children's Hospital provides specialist hospital care to children from our local boroughs, south east England and further afield. Evelina London also provides care for children with heart and lung conditions at Royal Brompton Hospital and Harefield Hospital, care for families in the community across Lambeth and Southwark, and work with other hospitals in the area to provide specialist care closer to where families live.
