Fraudulent emails targeting MyChart users
Monday 17 August 2026
We have been made aware of a number of fraudulent emails targeting users of MyChart, our app and website for patients and carers.
The emails, which use the MyChart name to appear genuine, ask users to fill in a survey to gather personal information.
These emails are not sent from Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and users should not click on any links in this email.
What to look out for
We will never ask users to provide any financial information, or offer free gifts, prizes or health care equipment.
MyChart emails from us always appear as being from ‘Your healthcare team’ and are sent from [email protected]
What to do if you think you received a fraudulent email
If you've received one of these emails, we'd encourage you to report the email as spam in your email inbox.
If you have clicked on a link in the email, you should:
- reset your MyChart password by logging in to the app or website. This can be found under ‘Account settings’
- check your email address, phone number any other personal information in MyChart is correct. You can check this under ‘Personal Information activity’ in MyChart
