He did it! Non Executive Director completes 61-mile run for Evelina

Non-Executive Director David Dean has successfully completed an incredible 61-mile run to raise money for the Evelina Children's Hospital.

David ran around 19 London hospital sites on Monday 8 October, in just under 13 hours. Trust Hospitality Manager, Gavin Tiffin, joined him for an impressive 37 miles of the run - after originally planning to run 20 miles as a 'warm up' for a marathon he plans to run next week. Director of the Evelina Children’s Hospital Grenville Fox, and Director of Finance Martin Shaw, joined David and Gavin towards the end of the run to give them the inspiration to carry on.

David set himself this tall challenge to raise money for a piece of hi-tech equipment called a Tandem Mass Spectrometer, which will quickly diagnose children and babies at the Evelina with a range of inherited diseases.
