Over 100 people from Lambeth attended a conference on 25 June, to hear more about our work and to make suggestions about how the Trust might improve its services to older people.

The Lambeth Pensioners Action Group (LAMPAG) held its eleventh annual conference at St Thomas’, with an interesting mix of Trust experts speaking about dementia, community services and our dignity code.

A panel made up of senior managers also answered questions about standards of care in the community for our older people, changes to pharmacy services and transport to and from our hospitals.

Yinglen Butt, Deputy Chief Nurse, said: “This was an exciting opportunity to hear directly from the older people we serve locally.”

“Feedback from the group gives us a better understanding about how people feel about the services we offer,” Yinglen says. “Listening to their comments can help us make improvements so that we offer the best possible care to all our patients."
