Adam Shaw

Consultant clinical geneticist


Adam Shaw joined us in 2010 as a consultant in clinical genetics and joint lead for cancer genetics.

Before this, he was an honorary consultant and senior lecturer at Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College London where he led research studies in Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome and Marshall-Smith syndrome.

He is a:

  • member of the British Society for Human Genetics (council member 2010 - 2013)
  • member of the Noonan syndrome guideline development group
  • medical advisor to the Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome (UK) support group and the International Marshall-Smith syndrome support group
