Avijit Banerjee

Honorary consultant and clinical lead for restorative dentistry

Biography

Avijit Banerjee is the chair and programme director of conservative and minimum intervention dentistry at King's College London. He also leads the cardiology and operative dentistry research programme.

He is the oral and dental health speciality lead for south London at the NIHR clinical research network.

Avijit is a member of the British Dental Association health and science committee. He runs a specialist clinical practice in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics and periodontics.

He was president of the metropolitan branch of the British Dental Association and is an honorary consultant advisor to the Chief Dental Officer.

Publications

Avijit is the primary author of Pickard's Guide to Minimally Invasive Operative Dentistry. He has also contributed to Minimally Invasive Esthetics, Odell's Problem Solving in Dentistry and The Principles of Endodontics.
