Biography

Bernard Prendergast has been a consultant cardiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since 2015. He is director of the cardiac structural intervention programme. 

Bernard has been a consultant at Wythenshawe Hospital and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

He has been honorary secretary of the British Cardiovascular and Cardiovascular Intervention Societies, and chairman of the European Society of Cardiology working group on valvular heart disease.
