Kiruthikah Thillai

Consultant in medical oncology
Biography
Kiruthikah Thillai qualified from University College London and completed core medical training before entering specialist training in medical oncology, working across several London hospitals.
During her registrar training she was awarded a prestigious Wellcome Trust Fellowship to undertake research in pancreatic cancer biology and genomics at King’s College London and received a PhD for her work.
She is now a consultant in hepatobiliary cancers working in Guy’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital and is currently the deputy clinical director for oncology.
She also works for the Guy’s Cancer Academy developing educational resources for patients and staff, focusing on holistic care and wellbeing.
