Luigi Gnudi

Professor of Diabetes and metabolic medicine, diabetes and endocrinology consultant
Biography
Luigi Gnudi completed his medical degree with honours in 1988 from Parma University, Italy.
He completed specialist training in diabetes and endocrinology in 1993 at Padua University, Italy.
From 1992 to 1995, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Professor Barbara B Kahn at Harvard Medical School.
In 1999 he completed a PhD in endocrinological sciences at Milan University, Italy.
In 2005 became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology.
Luigi is head of the unit for metabolic medicine and professor of diabetes and metabolic medicine in the school of cardiovascular medicine and sciences at King's College London.
