Sam Douthwaite

Biography
Following an MSc in tropical medicine in 2004 Sam Douthwaite spent 18 months with the Wellcome Trust in South East Asia working on severe malaria projects. He obtained his CCT in infectious diseases and general medicine in 2012 having completed his training in the Regional Infectious Diseases Unit in Manchester.
Sam started with Guy's and St Thomas' in 2013 and works closely with the HIV and hepatitis team and runs the infection module of the Kings’ Immunology MSc.
He is a member of the British HIV Association (BHIVA) and British Viral Hepatitis Group (BVHG) and an affiliate member of The Royal College of Pathologists.
