Consultant in palliative medicine
Biography
Dr Shaheen Khan is a consultant in palliative care.
His current roles include:
- consultant working across the palliative care team (inpatient services, community team, and outpatient clinic)
- joint lead for the King's Health Partners' Palliative Care Clinical Academic Group
- joint clinical director for Integrated Local Services.
Education and training
Shaheen graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School, having also been awarded a first class honours degree in BSc neuroscience.
He completed the MSc in palliative care from Kings’ College London in 2010, and in 2011 he was awarded a postgraduate certificate in clinical leadership.
