William Stern graduated from Cambridge and University College London. He then completed his medical training in London
He has spent time in neurology and neuroscience research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre (Harvard) and the Institute of Neurology (University College London).
He completed his higher training in neurology at King's College Hospital, Hurstwood Park, Guy's and St Thomas', and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.
He leads the first seizure service at Guy's and St Thomas', and sees patients with epilepsy and general neurology conditions.
