  • Biography

    Dr Stephen Till has been a consultant allergist in the Adult Allergy Service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals since 2011. He is also a reader in allergy at King's College London where he carries out research and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students.

    He graduated in Biochemistry from Oxford University and also holds a PhD in Allergy and Immunology from Imperial College London.

    Dr Till has clinical and research interests in food allergy and immunotherapy. In addition to leading the adult food allergy service, he also provides regular allergy input to the adult eczema clinic.

  • Specialist interests

    Clinical interests include food allergy in adults, immunotherapy (desensitisation) and the role of allergy in adult eczema.

  • Research interests

    Dr Till has diverse research interests. He is currently chief investigator of the PollenLITE clinical trial (pollen low dose intradermal therapy evaluation) funded by the MRC and NIHR under the Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation Programme. Other ongoing research projects (some collaborative) include mechanisms of severe food allergy in adults, psychological aspects of food intolerance and immunopathogenic mechanisms in nasal polyposis.
