Shahreen Ahmad, MRCP FRCR MD(Res) qualified at University College London (University of London). She trained in clinical oncology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas'. She undertook a research fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and King's College London, studying imaging and tumour motion in lung cancer and their application to radiotherapy.

She has been involved the implementation of the latest radiotherapy techniques in lung cancer treatment at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and is the lead cancer clinician for stereoablative radiotherapy (SABR). We have more experience in treating patients with SABR than any other centre in the south of England. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and is principal investigator of a number of clinical trials. She has ongoing collaborative research links with imaging sciences at King's College London and University College London on a number of projects.
Shahreen is lung cancer tumour working group lead for the network and is directorate clinical lead for the cancer information solution (CIS) system currently being implemented in the oncology and haematology departments and Guy’s and St Thomas’.
