Biography
Dr Sarah Ngan is a consultant in medical oncology working at Guy's and St Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Sarah Ngan completed her undergraduate medical training at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital school of medicine and undertook her training in medical oncology at Imperial College London, where she also obtain a PhD in molecular pathways involved in prostate and breast cancer. She was appointed as consultant in medical oncology at Guys and St Thomas’s (GSTT) Hospital in 2012 and prior to this was working at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.
Her specialist areas of interest include gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies, carcinoma of unknown primary (CUP) and acute oncology (AOS).
She is currently clinical lead for cancer of unknown primary at GSTT and is pathway chair for the London Cancer Alliance (LCA) CUP pathway group. She has developed the regional guidelines for CUP for the London Cancer Alliance.
She is currently clinical lead for cancer of unknown primary at GSTT and is pathway chair for the South East London Accountable Clinical Network (SELACN) CUP pathway group.
