Louis McArdle

Consultant oral surgeon

Biography

Louis McArdle has been a consultant oral surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since 2008.

He is one of the foremost authorities on all aspects of third molar surgery and has lectured both nationally and internationally.

In 2002 he developed and introduced the specialist oral surgery training programme at King's College London and Guy's and St Thomas' and is educational supervisor for specialist oral surgery trainees. 

He was president of the British Association of Oral Surgeons between 2008 and 2010. He is the national advisor for oral surgery and examiner for the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
