Francesca Forzano

Consultant in clinical genetics and honorary senior lecturer at King's College London

Biography

Francesca Forzano started working as a consultant in clinical genetics at Guy's Hospital in July 2017. She worked in clinical genetics at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and in the Clinical Genetics Unit at Galliera Hospital in Genova, Italy, where she was deputy head for seven years, three years of which as interim head.

Francesca has been involved in many national and international committees, working on policy developments and research in clinical genetics. She is currently Chair of the Public and Professional Policy Committee (PPPC) of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG).
