  • Biography

    Dr Deborah Bruce was appointed substantive senior lecturer and honorary consultant gynaecologist at King's College London/Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in January 2011. She trained in the South-West Thames region and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in obstetrics and gynaecology in January 2010. Along with this, she receivced a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and cardiovascular disease in 2005. Deborah is a British Menopause Society menopause specialist and a member of British Menopause Society Council.

    Deborah is also a senior lecturer in medical education, director of clinical practice, patient educator programme and Values Based clinical practice (VBCP) theme lead and graduate entry medicine module lead. She is also a senior interviewer and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) examiner and contributes to assessment by writing SBA, OSCE stations and helped develop the e-portfolio contributions for clinical skills. She is also a member of the appeals board and senior leadership team for GKT School of Medical Education.
