Endodontics
We offer diagnosis, prevention and management for problems with tooth pulp and tissues around the tooth root.
This often involves root canal treatment to treat infection and inflammation.
We also offer:
- root canal re-treatment if a root canal procedure has failed before
- surgery to remove the tip of the tooth root (apicoectomy)
Our department is one of the largest postgraduate endodontics training centres in the world.
Our postgraduate dental students provide your treatment as part of their training. They work under the supervision of a consultant or other experienced dentist.
