Before your appointment

During your appointment

Your appointment will usually last 30 minutes.

You'll see a:

• consultant dermatologist
• clinical nurse specialist

You'll usually need to have a blood test.

We're a teaching hospital and sometimes students will be in the clinic to observe. We'll ask you if you're happy for them to be at your appointment. It won't affect your care if you prefer not to have them there.

After your appointment

We'll send a letter to you and your local health team summarising your visit. Please let us know if you don't want to receive a copy.
