Making a referral

We accept referrals from GPs and hospital specialists.

Our local catchment area includes Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. We also have a large tertiary referral practice for patients from the UK.

GP referrals

All NHS GP referrals must be submitted using the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS). Referrals sent by email or post from NHS GPs will not be processed.

Please make sure all relevant results are sent with the referral.

Referrals will be reviewed by the team and patients will be triaged to the most appropriate haematology specialist or seen in our general clinic.

Tertiary referrals

Tertiary referrals can be emailed to us or sent by post. Referrals must be addressed to a named consultant.

Referrals from other hospitals must include a completed Inter-Provider Minimum Data Set or make sure that one is sent within 48 hours of referring a patient.

2-week wait (2WW) referrals

2-week wait referrals can be sent to [email protected], or call us on 020 7188 0902.

Urgent referrals

Please contact the on-call haematology registrar via our hospital switchboard on 020 7188 7188.
