We work closely with a range of partners to develop and deliver services that meet the needs of our local and wider patient communities.
One of our main partnerships is King's Health Partners. This is a pioneering collaboration which brings together the best research, clinical excellence and world-class teaching to deliver groundbreaking advances in physical and mental healthcare.
We work with the South East London Clinical Commissioning Group. We are also working with the local councils and other partners to develop local care networks as a basis for place-based care in the community. To do this we are working with commissioners, primary care, social care, the voluntary sector and other partners.
We are part of, and host, a variety of clinical networks across south London and beyond. In particular, we provide specialist children's services for south east London and Kent, offering both children's and neonatal retrieval services across south London.
We are also the renal transplant centre for south east London, lead the south London cardiovascular network and the accountable care cancer network for south east London.
We have well-established links, both formal and informal, with many non-health related partners across the local area.
Through membership of local development and partnership boards across Lambeth and Southwark we play a full role in the development of the local community.
We have links with both local authorities – formally through oversight and scrutiny and planning groups as well as informally.
Through our links with such groups as the Lambeth Pensioners Association, Cancer Black Care and many others, we seek to ensure that the services we run are appropriate to the needs of the diverse local community that we serve.
