  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) – seminar for primary care

    • Date: Friday 15 January

    • Time: 1.30-2.30pm

    Guy's and St Thomas' would like to invite you to a one-hour interactive seminar with a practical overview of IBD cases in the COVID-19 recovery phase.

    The session will cover:

    • rapid access diagnostic during coronavirus (COVID-19), new vetting systems and referral criteria
    • extra intestinal manifestations of Crohn's disease
    • IBD diagnosis/challenges and treatment
    • questions will be taken at the end of the talk.

  • The high risk foot – update for primary care

    • Date: Friday 22 January

    • Time: 1.30-2.30pm

    We would like to invite you to a one-hour interactive virtual seminar where you will learn about the diagnosis, patient referrals and the management of diabetic foot and vascular disease. Questions will be taken at the end of the talk.

  • Management of skin cancer for primary care

    • Date: Tuesday 26 January

    • Time: 1.30-2.30pm

    Ms Jenny Geh, consultant plastic surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas', would like to invite you to a one-hour interactive virtual seminar where you will learn how to improve the patient referrals and the management of skin cancer. Questions will be taken at the end of the talk.

    The talk will cover:

    • guidance on NICE skin cancer pathways
    • how a skin cancer patient may present
    • skin multidisciplinary meeting requirements (MDM)
    • management of skin lesions and how to get help and advice from the local or specialist teams.
