Movement for life: strength, balance and confidence

Join our session to help you stay active, independent and confident in everyday life.

We'll share practical, evidence‑based advice on how movement can improve strength, balance and wellbeing. We'll give you practical tips you can start using straight away.

The event will be held online and in person at St Thomas’ Hospital.

Refreshments, including tea, coffee and biscuits, will be available for you and your guest from 5pm.

  7. Learn about backward chaining, a teaching method where activities are broken down into small steps, and you practise the last step first
  8. Apps and technology to support exercise
  9. What to do if you are worried about your strength and balance
