You’ve tried everything to give up smoking – patches, chewing gum, but nothing seems to work. With an estimated 10 million adult smokers in Britain today you are not alone!

This Wednesday 13 March is National “No Smoking Day” when Guy’s and St Thomas’ Smoking Service will be holding special events between 11am and 3pm at St Thomas’ Hospital’s Central Hall and in the main reception at Guy’s Hospital to give advice and support to patients and staff who want to stop smoking.

Stop smoking advisor, Alanna Molloy says: “People who use the service are four times more likely to stay smoke free so why not come along to one of our sessions for advice about how you can quit smoking once and for all. We’ll be able to give you lots of tips on ways to stop the inevitable cravings and how to stay on track, with a personal ‘quit plan’ that is tailored to your needs.”

If you would like to know more about the service and how to get help call 020 7188 0995, or email: [email protected].
