Sheila Shribman has been reappointed to serve second term as a Non-Executive Director of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
The reappointment was recommended by the Trust’s Nominations Committee and agreed by the Council of Governors. Her appointment runs for a further four years with effect from 13 June.
Trust Chairman, Sir Hugh Taylor said: “I am delighted Sheila has been reappointed. She has made invaluable contributions in a number of areas, most especially in the development of the new arrangements for the Evelina London but also her contributions to the Quality and Performance and Cancer Services Committees, as well as to the Board itself as Vice Chairman.”
Sheila was the Department of Health’s National Clinical Director for Children, Young People and Maternity for seven years until March 2013.

The Trust has benefited hugely from Sheila’s expertise in maternity, children and young people's services and she chairs the Evelina London Board.
Sheila said: “I am absolutely delighted to be reappointed as a Non-Executive Director at Guy’s and St Thomas’, which is a fantastic place. I am especially pleased to continue my role at Evelina London chairing the Evelina London Board. Evelina London goes from strength to strength due to the commitment of the excellent staff and outstanding care given to children and families.”
