An innovative water saving programme at Guy's and St Thomas' has reduced the Trust's water consumption by nearly 20% and helped to provide access to clean and safe drinking water to some of the poorest people in the world.
Study identifies risks of pregnancy and sickle cell disease

A study into Sickle cell disease (SCD) and its effect on pregnancy has found that women with a severe form of the disease are six times more likely to die during or after pregnancy. They also have an increased risk of stillbirth, high blood pressure, and premature birth.
