Mayor recognises cycling push

Guy's and St Thomas' has achieved the 3rd stage of the Mayor of London's NHS Cycle strategy for the NHS in London. We were one of only 8 trusts in London to achieve the 3rd phase of this strategy, and the only one in South London.

Whilst many of us were enjoying a relaxing "lie in" on Easter Monday (1 April), hospitality manager Gavin Tiffin, was up early beginning the first leg of his extraordinary marathon cycle and run for the Evelina Children's Hospital.

One of our consultant physicians has become the youngest Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society (BPS). At just 38-years-old, David Wood has achieved Fellowship status "for distinction and peer recognition in pharmacology".
