Before your appointment

Please bring a list of your medications to your first appointment.

You can bring a friend or relative for support.

During your appointment

Your first appointment can take 2 to 3 hours.

You'll meet your consultant and nurse specialist.

We'll do some tests and arrange any that cannot be done on the day.

Your first appointment will be at the hospital. Follow-up appointments may be done on the phone or video.

We aim to give you the time you need. Sometimes appointments can take longer. Your appointment may not always start on time because of this.
