We have started a mobile blood test (phlebotomy) service for our patients who are shielding, self-isolating, or due for a virtual appointment. This service is run by CHS Healthcare and provides blood tests at home. It will reduce the need for you to visit the hospital for a blood test during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Before your appointment
Please drink plenty of water before your blood test unless advised not to by your doctor.
What to expect at your appointment
The phlebotomist will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) for your protection and will do the necessary blood tests.
The blood samples will be sent to Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
After your appointment
Results will be reviewed by the clinician who requested your blood test.
