Nicholas Barnett

Consultant in transplantation and vascular access surgery

Biography

Nicholas Barnett was appointed as a consultant in transplantation and vascular access surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2017. Previously he worked as an NIHR lecturer in transplantation surgery in the University of Cambridge and as an honorary specialty registrar in transplant surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital between 2015 and 2017.

Nick worked as a research fellow at Guy’s Hospital (2009 - 2012) while completing a doctor of medicine (MD(Res)) at King’s College London on ‘The role of B cell depletion in renal transplantation’.

Nick also performs patient assessments and access surgery at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
