Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
COVID-19 autumn booster vaccinations and seasonal flu vaccinations are now available for eligible people at our vaccination centre at Guy’s Hospital.
We offer vaccinations in line with the Government’s guidelines.
Those who are at greatest risk will be offered their vaccination first and the NHS will let you know when it is your turn.
COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available for eligible people who have not completed their original course.
How to book
Book your COVID-19 vaccination appointment using the national booking system on the NHS website. Flu appointments are not yet available to book online but you will be offered the flu vaccine when you come to our vaccination centre.
We also offer some walk-in appointments, although we recommend you book to avoid disappointment. Please check the national find a walk in site website for opening times.
If we send you an invitation to come for your vaccine you do not need to reply if you want to be vaccinated elsewhere.
Changing or cancelling your appointment

Vaccinations for children and young people

Flu vaccinations for children and young people are available through their GP, school or community clinic. Please visit the NHS website to find out more.
You cannot usually choose which vaccine you have. When you book, you'll only be offered appointments for vaccines that are suitable for you.
Most people can have any of the COVID-19 vaccines, but some people are only offered certain vaccines based on medical suitability.
When you come for your appointment, we will ask you questions about your relevant medical history. This will tell us whether you are medically suitable for the vaccine you have been booked for. If because of your medical history you are not suitable for that vaccine, we will offer you an alternative vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccines approved for use in the UK have met strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.
They can cause some side effects, but not everyone gets them.

You may receive an invitation from NHS England to book a vaccine appointment.
There have been reports of text message scams where the link goes to a fake NHS form which asks for bank details as proof of identity. The NHS will never ask for banking information.

If you received your vaccine at our hospitals and your records are not showing correctly, please email [email protected] and we will respond to you within 48 hours.
We're unable to amend any vaccination records for vaccines that were administered, and records uploaded, elsewhere. Please contact the vaccination hub where you received your vaccination, or contact your GP who will be able to look into your query further.
You can prove your vaccination status through the NHS app or through the online COVID pass service.
You can also request a letter through the COVID pass letter service. We are not able to provide you with these letters.
If you received your COVID-19 vaccination abroad you can book an appointment at the Trust to show evidence of the vaccinations you received outside of England. This service is available to people aged 5 years old or over, who have an NHS number and who have had one of the approved vaccines listed.
