Neighbourhood nursing

How to get an appointment

We accept referrals from:

  • your GP
  • social services
  • health professionals

Cancelling or changing your appointment

Please call your allocated named nurse. The contact details for your named nurse are in your red folder.

Alternatively, please call 020 3049 4020.

Before your appointment

We'll give you a named nurse and their contact details.

We'll agree a 2-hour time slot for the nurse to visit you. We'll try to arrive within this time.

We'll tell you how to prepare for your treatment before we visit.

Please:

  • make sure pets are not in the same room
  • have any dressings or items needed for your care ready

During your appointment

You'll see 1 or 2 nurses, depending on the treatment you need.

They may have a student nurse with them.

At your first appointment we'll give you a red folder to keep at home. This is a record of your care. At the end of your treatment we'll take the folder as it has to be stored securely. We may also make a record on an electronic device.

After your appointment

We'll confirm if you need a follow-up appointment.

If you have any questions about your care, please contact your named nurse or contact us.
