Caring with Carers courseWe are committed to working in partnership with the families and carers of people who use our services, and to involving them in all aspects of these services. As an organisation, we recognise a broad definition of the terms ‘carer’ and ‘family’, which includes anyone who is the important person in the lives of people who use our services. We are committed to increasing the provision of family and carer information.
For all carers in Guy's and St Thomas' to feel recognised, valued, included and respected as expert care partners at the heart of decision making of the person they care for. By enabling carers to access information services and support they require we hope to enable carers to make positive choices in their caring role and in their quality of life
This underpins our Trust values.
- Put patients first
- Take pride in what we do
- Respect others
- Strive to be the best
- Act with integrity
