Our cardio‑oncology service helps prevent, diagnose and treat heart problems that can be caused by cancer treatments.
We support people who:
- need a heart assessment before starting cancer treatment
- are currently having cancer treatment and develop heart problems
- develop heart problems after previous cancer treatment
Our service has been recognised as a Gold Class Centre of Excellence by the International Cardio‑Oncology Society.
Join our seminar hosted by the Royal Brompton Hospital Cardio Oncology Centre of Excellence. The session will bring together leading clinicians and researchers to share the latest developments in cardio‑oncology, where cancer care and heart health come together.
It will cover current evidence, emerging research and the changing role of cardio‑oncology across clinical practice and primary care. The seminar is open to everyone.
Topics
- Clinical cardio-oncology - the scope of the problem from evidence to guidelines
- Research in cardio-oncology - multimodal imaging and the EU COMPASS grant
- Cardio-oncology at the interface with primary care
