Biography

Jude Oben is a clinician scientist and consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

He studied medicine at the University of Oxford and Stanford University, USA.

He has a PhD in immunopharmacology from University College London. 

He completed a fellowship in hepatology at Johns Hopkins University, USA.

He is an associate professor in experimental hepatology at King's College London.

His postgraduate training was at Imperial College London, followed by training in eye surgery before changing to hepatology.
