Adult Acute Dental Centre
- Appointment allocation time: 6.30am
- Clinic opens: 8.30am
Walk-in patients will be accepted from Monday to Friday, however, patients will be given their appointment times by the team and asked to return for it later Appointment times will start being allocated to patients from 6.30am, on the ground floor of Tower Wing, Guy's Hospital, in front of lifts A. Once allocated an appointment, patients will be asked to return for it later in the day, where they will then report to floor 23, Tower Wing, Guy's Hospital.
If we reach capacity we will stop accepting patients but exceptions can be made (at the discretion of the clinician in charge) for patients presenting with the following symptoms:
- Major facial swelling
- Severe trauma (excluding broken fillings or teeth)
- Uncontrollable bleeding
Unfortunately we do not provide an out-of-hours acute dental service. If we are unable to see you and the nature of your concern is urgent please contact NHS 111.
Please bring a list of your medication(s) when visiting so our clinicians are able to properly assess you and provide appropriate treatment and/or analgesia (if required).
If English is not your first language please be advised that you will need to be accompanied by someone who will be able to translate on your behalf.
If a tooth extraction is required you will require a translator before this can be performed.
