We diagnose and treat people with voice, airway and swallowing problems. We'll see you every week or every other week.

We assess and treat people with:

  • dizziness
  • vertigo
  • balance difficulties
  • eye movement disorders

This clinic is led by a physiotherapist and consultants. You may also see members from our audiology service.

Microsuction clinic

Frequency: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Your GP or health professional can refer you. 

Our nurse-led microsuction service assesses and treats people who have stable, abnormal ears. Normally you'll have been seen by our otologists (ear surgeons) first.

Patients with normal ears but occlusive wax should be seen in the community wax clinics.

Otology clinic

Your GP or health professional can refer you. 

We see people with ear problems, including hearing or discharge. We work with colleagues in audiology to help diagnose and treat hearing problems.

We also see people outside of the local area, mainly with:

  • skull base problems
  • complex hearing deficits that may benefit from hearing implants
  • facial palsy

We'll see you every week or every other week.

Rhinology clinic

We see people with nasal problems, including with:

  • blockages
  • discharge
  • difficulties with the sense of smell

We work closely with colleagues in respiratory medicine to help diagnose and treat allergy problems. We also see people with nasal deformity, where it results from trauma.

We'll see you every week or every other week.

Emergency clinic

We see people with urgent ENT problems. These problems include:

  • external ear infections that need microsuction
  • nose bleeding
  • nasal fractures

Tracheostomy clinic
