We care for adults with hearing and balance difficulties.

Our service includes:

  • hearing tests, including tests tailored for adults with intellectual or cognitive difficulties
  • auditory pathway tests
  • fitting, adjustment, and maintenance of hearing aids
  • aural rehabilitation to help with managing hearing difficulties, tinnitus, and hyperacusis
  • home visits
  • balance tests

We carry out research related to the assessment and treatment of hearing and balance in partnership with other services.

Research and clinical trials

Research is vital to improving the care that you receive when you're unwell. You can help improve healthcare by taking part in research studies at our Trust. During your appointment, ask your healthcare professional about research. They will be happy to tell you about research studies you could be eligible to join.

Hearing aid repairs and spare parts

Hearing aid repairs

You can send your hearing aids to us to be repaired. We'll complete the repairs within 48 hours of receiving your hearing aids. Please remove the batteries and post the hearing aids to us using signed for and tracked delivery. We're not liable for hearing aids that are lost in the post.

You can also contact us to book a face-to-face repair appointment for your hearing aids. Our appointments page has information about what will happen during your repair appointment.
