How to get an appointment
Your GP or hospital doctor can refer you.
Changing or cancelling your appointment

Before your appointment
Please bring:
- a list of medicines you're taking
- the results of any recent tests or investigations you’ve had done by other doctors
- a list of questions you have about your condition and treatment
If you keep a file of all your health records, it is helpful to bring this with you.
We'll ask you to come in for any tests or investigations needed before your appointment.
Video appointments

Please contact us if we've not sent you a video appointment link by text message 24 hours before your appointment.
Face-to-face appointments
Our face-to-face appointment page has information about how to prepare.
Your face-to-face appointment will take place at: Gassiot House outpatient centre, ground floor, St Thomas' Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7EH
During your appointment
Our appointments normally last 30 minutes and you'll see a team consisting of:
- consultants
- nurse specialists
- dietitians
After your appointment
We'll send a letter to you and your GP or hospital doctor. It will include:
- a summary of the appointment
- any agreed outcomes
- treatment plan

We'll make a follow-up appointment if you need it. This will be with either a doctor, nurse specialist or dietitian.
